Psychology Professor Beats Wife and Locks Son in Dog Crate for Going to the Shops Without Permission
This is John Froiland, he teaches (or rather taught) Educational Psychology 235, Learning and Motivation
I have written at a previous time in this blog, "why does this profession attract the nuts?" but this particular situation is in a completely different stratosphere.
Apparently, his wife was out shopping and when she returned he lost his mind because he didn't know where she was.
This escalated to him locking his ten year old son in a dog crate, ripping the leg off a wooden rocking chair and assaulting his wife with it. He then confiscated her phone in order to prevent interaction with the police.
He was arrested on numerous charges and made bail which was set at a measly $500-. He has also been banned from the campus at which he taught for a year.
