The anti-racialist's wet dream, quotas over merit, seems to be the current way of thinking in today's societal climate. People, once deemed unqualified for such positions, can be given a leg-up due to ethnicity while those more suited can be passed over. Paradoxical, as this is a discriminatory practice based on race. The anti-racists are, in fact, the biggest racists out there. This may seem odd, but you have to remember the age we are all living in, Clown World c.2023.
The ALP are expected to adopt a DEI quota affirmative action plan when they have their national conference next month. Of course, the problem with this is the right person or people can be overlooked in order for the right boxes to be ticked. This is a recipe for mediocrity.
