Big W, in a blatant disregard for long-term thinking, decided to go all out on the virtue-signalling front and push the Yes campaign in connection to the upcoming referendum. Their political posturing backfired and in-store announcements in favour of Yes23 have been scrapped.
While not working for Big W itself, I have worked for their parent company, Woolworths (as my choice in attire pictured above confirms). Like the offshoot, the agenda pushing there was also rife.
