Quite possibly feeling the need to fill the coffers after the Voice to Parliament debacle late last year, as well as money being thrown overseas at anything left, right and centre by our prime minister in the misguided attempt at trying to gain himself some new friends (jet fuel isn't cheap either), Parliament House will be holding six garden tours accommodating twenty people lasting an hour long, for a price tag of $38- each with a slight discount for concession card holders.
I would have thought if you were on a concession, with the way the cost of groceries are spiralling, you'd be more worried about having an adequate supply of food on the table.
Speaking of which, if all that wandering through the gardens gets your tummy rumbling, a refreshment package for an extra ten dollars entitles you to a discount on a scone and hot drink.
A discount.
I have to admit though, the grounds do look nice.
