A real-life Walter Mitty or just a pathological liar desperate for attention?
Who is Jason Arday, and does even he, himself know? It's hard to take in good faith the veracity of the unbelievable tales which spring forth from his gullet as you listen to the stakes he has made claim to.
Putting aside any accusations of plagiarism levelled at the man, it has been said (by Professor Arday himself) that at one time he ran 600 miles on a treadmill in 6 days, over a 35 day period he ran in 30 marathons, and over the course of three days he ran 300 miles while raising £5,000,000 for charity.
Any records to confirm these admittedly fantastic feats are unfortunately pretty scarce to come by.
He has also mentioned he was part of the programme Seven Up.
The Up series started in 1964.
He would have been minus 21.
